While I wonder what happened to Jack Wall … Chris Mansell and his team are sheer brilliance. (Yes, I pay attention to composers. I can be a geek about that.)

On a less technical and pedantic note … I get the shivers and the tearing-up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

(I’m too embarrassed to admit how many times I’ve listened to The Fountain soundtrack. I wrote a whole novel to that music.)

I’m going to admit my unpopular opinion - I wasn’t feeling the music in the demo. I really loved what Jack Wall did with the first few soundtracks, and Clint Mansell just isn’t doing it for me, so far (although I am still very willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to hear the entire thing when ME3 comes out before deciding for sure).
